Jaren Jackson, Jr., one of the best players in the Class of 2017 and son of former Hoya and NBA player Jaren Jackson, has committed to Michigan State.
Though the Hoyas were listed among the final five schools and Jackson visited campus just two weeks ago, it is widely suspected that Jackson would choose one of the other (and certainly more lame) Big 10 schools on his final list.
Hoyas fans are going to be upset about this likely decision, and mostly with good reason. After all, if John Thompson III can’t land the son of a Hoya great whose mom also went to Georgetown, what hope do we really have?
