WASHINGTON - Georgetown University football senior defensive lineman Hunter Kiselick (Nutley, N.J./Bergen Catholic) has been named the STATS FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday evening. The award recognizes his efforts in GU’s 20-17 road victory at Marist on Saturday.
Kiselick blocked a pair of Marist field goal attempts as the Hoyas preserved a three-point victory on the road. Trailing 10-3 in the second quarter, Kiselick blocked a 37-yard attempt to give GU some momentum. In the fourth quarter, he blocked a 48-yard attempt to help maintain the three-point lead. He was also part of a defense that held Marist to 0-of-13 on third down conversions and fewer than 100 yards rushing.
