Florence, Italy - After an impressive win on Tuesday night in Rome, the Georgetown University men’s basketball team and its travel party departed early on Wednesday morning from the city to continue the 10-day tour of Italy.
Buses departed Rome just after 7 a.m. and, after a couple of stops along the way on Italian highways, the team arrived in Pisa where they were to visit the famed Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the freestanding bell tower of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its unintended tilt.
