POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Georgetown University football team totaled 358 yards of offense, blocked two field goals and the defense held Marist College 0-of-13 on third down conversions as the Hoyas defeated the Red Foxes, 20-17, on Saturday evening at Tenney Stadium. The win moved GU to 2-0 on the season, the first time the Blue & Gray has won its first two games since 2012, while Marist fell to 0-2.
Tim Barnes (Oradell, N.J./River Dell Regional) was 23-of-45 passing for 208 yards and one touchdown and he also ran 12 times for 32 yards.
