WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football program had 27 student-athletes named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll when the league office announced the list on Friday. Overall, the Patriot League had a record 233 student-athletes from its seven football institutions earn academic honors.
To be eligible for the Fall Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports. Four Hoyas earned their fourth-consecutive appointment to the academic honor roll, including seniors Jim McLaughlin (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson) and Jelani Williamson (Silver Spring, Md.
