Hoyas Fall to Red Flash, 48-20, in Season-Opener

LORETTO, Pa. - The Georgetown University football team (0-1, 0-0 Patriot League) fell victim to a quick start by Saint Francis (Pa.), trailing by 21 points before the end of the first quarter. The Hoyas were never able to recover, falling 48-20 in their season-opener at DeGol Field in Loretto, Pa.

Preseason All-Patriot League senior cornerback Ettian Scott (Okinawa, Japan/Northside (N.C.)) was a bright spot for the Hoyas, returning an interception 35 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.
