Hoyas Fall Short at Creighton, 85-77

OMAHA, Neb. - The Georgetown University men's basketball team's late comeback fell short as the Hoyas dropped an 85-77 decision at CenturyLink Center Omaha. It was the second-consecutive loss for the Blue & Gray as the team slips to 13-8 on the year with a 3-7 mark in league play. The Bluejays improve to 17-5 with a 7-3 mark in league action.

Freshman guard Jahvon Blair (Brampton, Ont./Athlete Institute Prep) poured in a career-high 21 points, bolstered by five 3-pointers and a perfect 4-of-4 performance from the free throw line. Junior forward Marcus Derrickson (Bowie, Md.
