WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (7-2) returned home and continued its winning ways with a 69-56 victory over the George Mason University Patriots (5-5) on Thursday evening at McDonough Arena. It was GU’s first home game since Nov. 11, and Georgetown’s sixth victory in a row. “It felt great to be back home and to be on our own court. We’re 2-0 at home, and that’s one of our goals especially going into BIG EAST play,” said Georgetown Head Coach Natasha Adair. Junior guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) led the way for the Hoyas, tying her career high with 25 points and posting eight rebounds.
