Hoyas Down Butler, 83-72

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (16-9, 8-7 BIG EAST) used a big fourth-quarter push to defeat the Butler University Bulldogs (5-21, 2-13 BIG EAST), 83-72, Friday evening at McDonough Arena. The Hoyas hit six 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to pull away and clinch a first round bye in the BIG EAST Tournament.
