WASHINGTON - Georgetown University sophomore quarterback Gunther Johnson (Anthem, Ariz./Boulder Creek/Arizona) has been named to Patriot League Honorable Mention, recognizing his efforts in Georgetown’s game at Lehigh this past Saturday.
Johnson, who saw the majority of snaps at quarterback, finished 18-of-33 passing for 290 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was also GU’s leading rusher, running for 71 yards and three more scores on 13 carries. His 290 passing yards were a season high for the Blue & Gray and his three rushing touchdowns were the most in a game by a Hoya since Nick Campanella (’13) rushed for three against Davidson on Sept.
