WASHINGTON - Senior center Bradley Hayes (Jacksonville, Fla./Sandalwood) recorded his second double-double of the season and Georgetown opened up a 31-point lead at the half before settling for a 74-57 win over Brown on Monday night at Verizon Center.
It was the fourth-straight win for the Hoyas, and the fifth in the last six games, as GU improves to 5-3 overall, while Brown falls to 3-6.
Hayes hit 5-of-8 shots from the floor for 12 points – his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season – to lead three players in double figures for the Hoyas and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds.
