WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's basketball team will play LaSalle University on Saturday, Dec. 10 at AmericanAirlines Arena in December as part of the Second Annual Hoophall Miami Invitational, announced today by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The Georgetown game is one of two games that will be played, including a matchup between Temple and DePaul. The two-day event begins on Saturday, Dec. 3, with a doubleheader featuring Virginia Commonwealth against Illinois and Wofford College versus Miami.
The Hoophall Miami Invitational, held at the home arena of the NBA's Miami Heat, in part benefits the Mourning Family Foundation, created by former Georgetown All-American and NBA Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning (C'91).
