TOWSON, Md. - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (5-2) used a 17-0 run in the third quarter to defeat the Towson University Tigers, 75-59, at SECU Arena on Wednesday. The win was GU’s fourth in a row as the Hoyas are on a seven-game road swing.
“Going into halftime down, we challenged them to come out focused and some people to step up and the beauty of this team is that they don’t hang their heads, they respond,” said Head Coach Natasha Adair. “We’re learning how to fight through variables and to be a team that’s road tough.
