WASHINGTON – Georgetown scored five points in the final 30 seconds of regulation to force overtime, but Radford’s Rashun Davis scored 26 points and Cameron Jones added 20 as the Highlanders out-lasted the hosts, 82-80, in double overtime.
Senior center Bradley Hayes (Jacksonville, Fla./Sandalwood) scored 19 points and had 12 rebounds to lead the Hoyas, while senior guard D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central/Oak Hill) added 15 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Trailing by eight points late in the second half, 53-45, Radford used an 18-6 run and took a 63-59 lead on consecutive three-pointers from Rashun Davis and Cameron Jones.
