Parker Stewart, a 3-star Class of ‘17 combo guard from Tennessee is apparently feeling the love from the Georgetown coaching staff. Stewart received a release from his letter of intent from Ole Miss due to the uncertain future of head coach Andy Kennedy with the program.
Georgetown’s pursuit of Stewart should come as no surprise, as the Hoyas are desperate for scoring on the wing after missing out on Wright State grad transfer Mark Alstork.
Georgetown assistant coach Robert Kirby has ties to the South, having previously been an assistant at Mississippi State, Memphis and LSU.
