WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men’s basketball team plays its final non-conference contest of the regular season on Saturday, Jan. 14, hosting former conference rival UConn at Verizon Center. Tipoff is slated for noon.
The game will be shown live on FOX, with Gus Johnson calling the play-by-play, Jim Jackson serving as the color analyst and Shannon Spake on the sidelines.
The Hoyas are coming off an 83-55 win over BIG EAST Conference rival St. John’s on Monday, the team’s first league win of the season. GU enters the weekend with a 9-8 overall record and a 1-4 mark in league play.
