WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's basketball team will play its 2015-16 season-opening game on Saturday, November 14 at Verizon Center when the team hosts Radford. Tipoff at the team's downtown home is slated for noon.
The game will be shown live on FOX Sports 2, with Jason Knapp calling the play-by-play and former Georgetown men's basketball standout Ron Thompson serving as the color analyst. Fans locally can tune in to the radio call of Rich Chvotkin, in his 42nd season calling Georgetown basketball, on 106.7 FM The Fan WJFK, the team's new radio home.
Georgetown finished the 2014-15 season with a 22-11 record, including a 12-6 mark in the BIG EAST Conference, and returns two starters and nine letterwinners.
