WASHINGTON – The early-season schedule for the Georgetown University men’s basketball team has included contests against several nationally-recognized programs, but one game in particular stands out. On Saturday, Dec. 5 at Verizon Center, the Hoyas will take the floor against Syracuse, their former conference rival. Tipoff time is slated for 1 p.m.
The game will be shown live on FOX, with Tim Brando calling the play-by-play, and Jim Jackson serving as the color analyst. Fans locally can tune in to the radio broadcast of Rich Chvotkin, in his 42nd year calling Georgetown games – and Saturday’s game will be his 1,300th broadcast – on 99.
