WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men’s basketball team will play its second BIG EAST Conference home game of the season on Saturday, Jan. 9, hosting DePaul. Tipoff at Verizon Center is slated for noon.
The game will be shown live on FOX Sports 1, with Tim Brando calling the play-by-play, and former Georgetown standout Ron Thompson serving as the color analyst. The radio call of Rich Chvotkin can be heard locally on 99.1 FM WNEW.
Saturday’s game also will serve as the second annual Men Against Breast Cancer (MABC) College Game Day. The Georgetown coaches and team, as well as the DePaul coaching staff, will sport pink and blue awareness ribbons to symbolize that this fight is a partnership between men and women that must be fought together.
