CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Isaac Copeland had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Georgetown held on to defeat Charlotte 62-59 on Tuesday night to snap a two-game losing streak.
The Hoyas (7-5) were coming off home losses to Monmouth and UNC-Asheville, but got 11 points from D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera and 10 each from L.J. Peak, Marcus Derrickson and Reggie Cameron in the win.
Braxton Ogbueze was 5-of-8 from behind the 3-point line and finished with 18 points to lead Charlotte, which has lost seven of its last eight games under first-year head coach Mark Price.
