WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team (1-1, 0-0 Patriot League) jumped out to a 24-point first half lead and never looked back, defeating Marist (0-2, 0-0 Pioneer League) 34-7 in its home opener on Saturday night at Multi-Sport Field.
Junior wide receiver Justin Hill (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) finished with five receptions for 64 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while senior quarterback Kyle Nolan (Branford, Conn./Branford[Choate Rosemary Hall]) completed 21-of-34 pass attempts for 200 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another 32 yards in the win.
