Georgetown Football Recognized for Academic Progress Rate Numbers

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team was one of 14 teams from the Georgetown Athletics Department to be honored by the NCAA with Public Recognition Awards for high Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores for the 2015-16 academic year.

The Hoyas, who had 31 selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and two players named to the 11-member All-Academic Team following the 2015 season, were recognized for their APR scores for the third-straight year.

Along with the football team, Georgetown’s other 13 publicly recognized programs included: baseball, field hockey, men's golf, men's swimming & diving, men’s tennis, softball, women’s golf, women’s lacrosse, women’s rowing, women’s soccer, women’s swimming & diving, women’s tennis and volleyball.
