WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football program was recognized by the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) as a recipient of the Academic Progress Rate (APR) Award, sponsored by Forward Progress. The award is presented to the program with the highest APR score in each of the 13 FCS conferences. Georgetown has finished atop the Patriot League for the second-consecutive season.
“Excelling in the classroom is a challenge that we have embraced, with the help of our professors, deans and especially our academic adviser, Dr. Shelly Habel,” Head Coach Rob Sgarlata said.
