WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (9-7, 1-5 BIG EAST) fell to the St. John’s University (12-5, 4-2 BIG EAST), 71-66, on Friday evening McDonough Arena. The Hoyas will host Seton Hall University on Sunday in a 2 p.m. matchup on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
“This hurts, it should hurt, but we’re nowhere near throwing in the towel,” said Georgetown Head Coach Natasha Adair. “We just have to tweak some little things and know that we’ve seen this team play at a high level and we’ve seen this team be inconsistent.
