WASHINGTON - Georgetown fell behind at the half and rallied late in the second half, but could not make up lost ground as the Hoyas lost to Monmouth, 83-68, at Verizon Center Tuesday night.
The loss ends a five-game win streak for the Hoyas, who fall to 6-4 overall, while Monmouth improves to 7-3 overall. It was the team’s second loss at Verizon Center this season, the first time the Hoyas have lost two non-league games at their downtown home since 2004-05.
