WASHINGTON - A tough third quarter proved to be the difference as the Georgetown University women’s basketball team fell to the University of Alabama Crimson Tide (8-1), 78-66, on Saturday afternoon at Foster Auditorium in Tuscaloosa, Ala. With the loss, the Hoyas fall to 6-3 on the season with one game remaining on the non-conference schedule.
Freshman point guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) led the way with 17 points and seven rebounds as well as five assists, while sophomore guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) added 14 points. Junior guard Faith Woodard (Brandon, Fla.
