Georgetown Edged by Maryland in Gavitt Tipoff Games

WASHINGTON - Four Hoyas scored in double-figures but the Georgetown University men’s basketball team couldn’t hold off a last minute comeback in a 76-75 loss to visiting Maryland in the second annual Gavitt Tipoff Games at Verizon Center on Tuesday night. The Hoyas fall to 1-1 with the loss, while the Terrapins improve to 2-0.
