Georgetown Comes Back to Defeat Creighton at Verizon Center, 74-73

WASHINGTON - Georgetown overcame an 11-point deficit with 2:32 to play to come back and defeat Creighton, 74-73, at Verizon Center on Tuesday night. The Hoyas led by one at halftime but the Bluejays pulled away late in the second half before the Blue & Gray went on a 15-3 run over the final 2:17 of regulation to solidify the thrilling comeback victory in front of a boisterous home crowd.

Georgetown improves to 13-8 overall and 6-2 in the BIG EAST Conference, while Creighton falls to 14-7 overall and 5-3 in league play.
