WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University Athletics Department and Georgetown Sports Properties have announced a multi-year agreement with 106.7 FM The Fan CBS Radio to serve as the broadcast partner for Hoyas men’s basketball games, starting with the 2015-16 season.
WJFK-FM The Fan is the radio home of The Sports Junkies in the morning and is the radio home for Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals, as well as the Washington Wizards, the Washington Capitals and D.C. United.
“We’re very excited to announce this partnership with CBS Radio and for them to serve as the radio network for Georgetown Basketball for fans listening to legendary broadcaster Rich Chvotkin,” Georgetown Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs Dan O’Neil said.
