The program that had a grand total of two (ugh) conference wins over the last two years started off its conference schedule on the road but at Hinkle Fieldhouse, a place both the Georgetown Hoyas and Ed Cooley have had success. But it wasn’t to be in this one. Butler has been surprisingly good so far in Thad Matta’s second year in his second stint at Butler and this game went pretty much according to script. Georgetown was in this game until a rough five-minute close to the first half that ended up pretty much being the game.
