Four in Double Figures as Georgetown Beats St. John’s, 83-55

WASHINGTON - Georgetown put four players in double figures and held St. John’s to only 19 second half points en route to an 83-55 win at Verizon Center on Monday.

The win improves the Hoyas to 9-8 on the season and gives the Blue & Gray its first BIG EAST Conference win of the year at 1-4. St. John’s falls to 8-10 overall and 2-3 in league play.

Junior guard L.J. Peak (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney) scored 16 points, grabbed four rebounds and had two assists to lead four players in double figures for the Hoyas.
