WASHINGTON - On Monday evening, the Georgetown University football team kicked off its annual Super Star Olympics with the selections of the six teams via a draft, held in the Thompson Athletics Center. Rising seniors served as team captains, selecting rosters of players being ranked based on their numbers in the weight room.
“Monday was a great night for the guys to get together in a non-training function and have some fun and spend time developing the brotherhood," said Associate Head of Sports Performance Dave Terry, who works specifically with the football program. "These Olympics are designed to break up the monotony of offseason training while creating accountability, discipline and a strong work ethic.
