WASHINGTON - Five different Hoyas scored in double figures and the Georgetown University women's basketball team used a 13-0 run to start the fourth quarter to defeat Seton Hall University, 73-65, in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at Walsh Gymnasium on Friday night.
With the win, the Hoyas improved to 14-10 overall and 7-7 in the BIG EAST, while the Pirates fell to 17-7 and 7-6 in conference play. Georgetown had lost the last five meetings against Seton Hall.
Faith Woodard (Brandon, Fla./Freedom) finished with a season-high 21 points, going 9-of-11 from the field, while grabbing eight rebounds.
