WASHINGTON - Georgetown University junior defensive back Blaise Brown (New Orleans, La./St. Augustine/Loomis Chaffee) has earned Patriot League Honorable Mention honors, recognizing his efforts in GU’s game against Harvard at historic RFK Stadium on Saturday.
Brown set a career high with nine tackles, tying with teammate David Akere (Carrollton, Texas/Hebron) for game-high honors. He also had a career-best two interceptions, both of which came in the red zone to halt long Harvard drives. He made a diving catch in the end zone on the first play of the second quarter to prevent a touchdown, and then intercepted another pass at the 17-yard line in the third quarter.
