BIG EAST Media Day is in full swing and your 2021 BIG EAST Tournament Champion Georgetown Hoyas have been picked to finish 10th.
This is disappointing considering the momentum Georgetown was riding from their BET win and NCAA Tournament appearance, however, given the loss of seniors Jamorko Pickett, Jahvon Blair, and Chudier Bile (and the transfer of center Qudus Wahab, among others). There’s no telling if the conference coaches factored in the expectation that Tre King won’t play in 2021, and may not play this season.
One big bright spot was that freshman GUARD Aminu Mohammed was named BIG EAST Preseason Freshman of the Year.
