Adomako’s 24 Points Helps Georgetown Cruise Past Providence, 82-51

Providence, R.I. - The Georgetown University women’s basketball team scored a season-high 31 points in the first quarter and 10 different players scored as the Hoyas cruised past Providence College, 82-51, on Friday night in a BIG EAST Conference game at Alumni Hall.

With the win, the Hoyas improved to 11-9 overall and 4-6 in the BIG EAST, while the Friars fell to 4-16 and 0-10 in conference play.

Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) led the way for the Hoyas with a season-high 24 points, one shy of her career best. She set a new career high with 10 made field goals, including two from 3-point range.
