Miss drinking beer at Bulldogs football games? Your thirst could soon be quenched.
California State University Chancellor Timothy White is strongly considering repealing a 2006 executive order handed down by his predecessor that banned alcohol sales at all university owned and operated facilities, a well-placed Fresno State athletic department source told The Bee.
“It’s 99% certain,” the source said.
If enacted, the new policy could go into effect before the 2017 football season.
Repealing the alcohol ban would presumably be discussed at an upcoming CSU Board of Trustees meeting. The Board meets every other month in Long Beach.
