Fresno State appeared to have at least one piece of good news Friday night as it prepared to host Air Force in the Bulldogs’ first game since Tim DeRuyter was fired as coach.
Senior wideout Aaron Peck went through pregame workouts and looked to be available to play against the Falcons in a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Bulldog Stadium. The game is being broadcast on ESPN2.
Offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau was named interim coach after DeRuyter was let go Sunday. The Bulldogs (1-7, 0-4 Mountain West Conference) are guaranteed a third straight losing season.
The Falcons, who have dropped three straight, are 4-3 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
