Fresno State is set to name Alabama football assistant Eric Kiesau as the Bulldogs’ next offensive coordinator, according to sources.
Kiesau, an offensive analyst for Alabama, replaces Dave Schramm, who was fired Nov. 30 after running the Bulldogs offense for four years under coach Tim DeRuyter.
Kiesau, 43, was the offensive coordinator at Washington in 2013 when the Huskies generated 499.3 yards and 37.9 points per game to rank second and third, respectively, in the Pac-12. He also has been an offensive coordinator at Colorado and started his coaching career in the first of two stints at Cal working with wide receivers under former Fresno State quarterback Jeff Tedford.
