Bulldogs beat out Boise State for one of top JC tight ends in the country

Fresno State got Boise State again, this time securing a commitment from Raymond Pauwels, one of the top junior college tight ends in the nation.

Pauwels had a scholarship offer and was on an official visit to Boise State last weekend when the Bulldogs won the Mountain West Conference championship with a 19-16 victory in overtime.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Pauwels caught 56 passes for 612 yards and one touchdown in his sophomore season and is a first-team all-Western State Football League selection.
