Florida State blew a double-digit halftime lead for the second-straight week.
Unlike last game against Boise State, though, the Seminoles escaped their home field without a loss on Saturday,
For head coach Willie Taggart, that’s part of the process of FSU learning how to win games.
“The football team is still learning how to win, and they found a way tonight to get a W,” he said following Florida State’s 45-44 win over Louisiana-Monroe. “It wasn’t pretty, but our guys did find a way.”
Taggart said the win was a step into getting the program back, and then gave credit to his team for locking in and not folding when adversity rose, and said that they’ll celebrate the win for 24 hours, then move on.
