He’s been “suspended indefinitely” for quite some time, but it’s finally now official that Florida State and would-be senior receiver Da’Vante Phillips have parted ways. Phillips is noticeably absent from the new FSU roster, and Brendan Sonnone of Noles247 was the first to confirm that he is no longer with the team.
Phillips came in as a member of the heralded four-man wide reciever class of 2015, which included George Campbell, Nyqwan “Noonie” Murray, and Auden Tate. A former high four-star recruit, Phillips was ranked 99th nationally overall and tenth at his position nationally.
