While the season has been over for close to two months for the FSU football program, fans of the Seminoles have continued paying attention to what has been going on in the professional game – including the nearly dozen former Seminoles who were involved in the postseason and the road to Super Bowl 53 this weekend in Atlanta.
Ultimately, the group got knocked down to just one player as Lamarcus Joyner will continue the trend of former Noles to play for the Lombardi Trophy. In his fifth season in the NFL, Joyner and the Los Angeles Rams will be facing off with the New England Patriots in a rematch of Super Bowl 36 and the seventh straight game in which a FSU football alum will play for the title.
