After losing on a last-second field goal in Ireland, things somehow got worse for Florida State football to start the season the following week.
FSU got thoroughly dominated at home, falling o the Boston College Eagles 28-13, reducing the Seminoles’ season goals to beating rivals and trying to make a bowl game.
While the defense was somewhat better, the offense looked worse than it did against Georgia Tech. It was dysfunctional across the board, but, understandably, the issues with D.J. Uiagalelei (“DJU”) received most of the attention during and following the game.
