Florida State football held their first practice of the bye week this morning. Mike Norvell said it was a quality day of work, but was displeased with some of the effort. Norvell did praise some of the wide receivers and the developing confidence of that group. The WR room had their best game of the season at UNC, hauling in three touchdowns. After practice, wide receiver coach Ron Dugans spoke to the media.
The WR coach praised Keyshawn Helton not just for his play at UNC, but the leadership he shows on an everyday basis. Dugans, like Norvell and Kenny Dillingham have already done this week, applauded freshman Malik McClain for his blocking.
