Florida State football held their first scrimmage of the fall tonight, an energetic practice that pleased head coach Mike Norvell. After Norvell’s presser, special teams coordinator John Papuchis and defensive coordinator Adam Fuller each spoke to the media. Fuller was extremely pleased with his defense’s energy and execution in the first half of the scrimmage. He said, “It was a pretty good first scrimmage,” but mentioned their was some sloppy play due to fatigue in the later periods.
The defensive coordinator is pleased with the development of the defensive front, mentioning they’re ‘considerably better now.’ On the defensive line, Fuller said, “They’ve made the necessary strides, and now you can continue to see more growth.
