The biggest stage for an American track and field sprinter is upon former FSU track star Marvin Bracy. He has a chance to earn his first U.S. Olympic appearance at 22 years of age.
Bracy recently spoke on what the opportunity means to him via the dailycommercial:
“I’m confident about my chances to make the (U.S. Olympic) team,” Bracy said. “You have to be confident when you compete. I’m not intimidated when I run. That’s how you lose races. If you don’t believe in yourself, no one will believe in you. I believe in the work I’ve put in (at the NTC), on the track and in the weight room.
