With this week’s college basketball AP and Coaches polls set to be unveiled Monday, it seems inevitable that Florida State will be ranked for the first time this season.
The Seminoles are off to a 9-0 start, the program’s best since the 2003-2004 season. They are now one of seven remaining unbeaten teams in the country.
A week ago, FSU fell in the receiving votes portion of both polls, but after a 3-0 week that included a dismantling of No. 5 Florida on the road and a runaway win over Tulane in Tampa, a ranking this week, potentially even in the Top 20, is probable.
