Top FSU Football draft classes by NFL in program history

In the spring of 1951, the FSU football team became a part of professional football history when a duo of backs – Wayne Benner and Bill Driver – became the first Seminoles to be drafted by a NFL team when both were selected by the Cleveland Browns.

16 years later, Del Williams and Larry Kissam became the first ones picked in the modern draft era when they were selected by the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins respectively – and since then, the Noles have routinely heard the names called of top talent from the program each spring during the annual selection meeting.
