No. 17 Florida State baseball (26-18, 17-13 ACC) walked off Florida Gulf Coast (27-18, 12-6 ASUN) for a 2-1 win this evening. The Seminoles bounced back from a one-run loss earlier in the day for a one-run win of their own. Elijah Cabell led off the 9th inning with a shot over the right-field fence for the win. The homer was Cabell’s 13th of the season. The homer also extended Cabell’s hit-streak to ten games, as he was 1-2 with two walks. FSU’s pitchers combined to allow seven hits and just two walks while striking out nine. In the field, the Seminoles didn’t make an error.
